The purpose of this page is to inform the public about the current coronavirus epidemic situation in Ptuj. Public life is limited, only emergency services are in operation. Grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations, banks, post offices and stores remain open.
We would like to inform you that due to the current health situation, our Tourist information centre is closed until Sunday, 29 March 2020 or until the preventive measures’ cancellation. Tourist information is still available via e-mail (info@ptuj.info) or phone (+386 2 779 60 11), from Monday to Saturday (9 AM to 5 PM) and Sunday (10 AM to 4 PM).
In addition to the Tourist Information Center, the following institutions and companies are also closed until further notice:
- Thermal Park Bath and Zila Restaurant
- Ptuj Ormož Regional Museum
- Ptuj City Gallery
- Ptuj Interests-activity Center
- Ptuj People’s University and the Špajza Family Center
- Ptuj City Theater
- Ivan Potrč Library
- Ptuj City Cinema
- All accommodation providers public toilets, sports, fitness and other publicly and privately owned facilities
The Municipality of Ptuj would like to inform everyone that all outlets and establishments (except food stores) in the Municipality whose services are not essential for survival should be closed – florists, beauty and hairdressing salons, lounges, pubs and restaurants. Food delivery and meal pick-ups are allowed on a non-contact basis, taking into account self-protection recommendations. Cash-free business is recommended.
