6th Masterclass for Opera Singers Medea Iassonidi, Ptuj 2026 and Final Concert of Participants in Refektorium Minorite Monastery Ptuj
Ptuj will once again host the 6th international Masterclass for Opera Singers, led by renowned soprano and vocal coach Medea Iassonidi, bringing young opera talents from around the world to the city.
From 14 to 19 July 2026, participants from various countries will refine their skills and prepare a concert programme in the unique setting of the Minorite Monastery and the Music School of St. Peter and Paul Ptuj.
The highlight of the week will be the final concert, taking place on Sunday, 19 July at 8:00 PM in the Refectory of the Minorite Monastery.
Promising young opera solists, already performing on major stages, will present a selection of their study repertoire. The programme will feature music from various periods, with the promise of a few surprises.
