Ptuj’s old center boasts a new environmentally friendly and free mean of transport. The electric vehicle, which the citizens of Ptuj humorously named Zapeljivec (the Seducer) will make navigating the city easier. You can order a ride by phone, or simply flag Zapeljivec down in the street.

If you want to enjoy views of the oldest Slovenian city and its surrounding hills from the Drava River, embark the Čigra tourist boat.

PECIKL: FREE CITY (E-)BICYCLE RENTAL

Explore Ptuj by bicycle with Pecikl, the city’s attractive fleet of (e-)bikes in the colours of the Ptuj coat of arms. The system offers 40 city bicycles – 24 conventional bikes and 16 e-bikes. Most of the bicycles are available year-round. Bicycle rental is managed via an app, which also allows users to check the real-time availability of bikes at individual stations.

DIGITAL RENTAL IN 3 STEPS

1. Register or log in at the terminal using your username and password.
The registration fee is 1 €, while the bike rental is free of charge.
2. Select a bike.
Always check that the bike is in good working condition before setting off.
3. Press the button on the lock to unlock the bike.
When returning the bike, simply push it into the docking station – the rental will end automatically.

For shorter or longer rides, more challenging terrain and spectacular views from the wine-growing hills around Ptuj – including Haloze, Jeruzalem and Slovenske gorice – rent one of the high-quality electric bikes available at Alfa Točka.

The range includes powerful city e-bikes and mountain e-bikes for adults and children aged 10 and over, as well as child seats for transporting children up to 4 years old.

Your e-bike can also be delivered to a pre-arranged location. If you need transport for people and bikes by van, this can also be arranged.

Hop on a bus! For free! Ptuj city buses take the circle route between the park ‘n’ ride parking lot at Zadružni trg, Ptujske Terme and the old city center, and are available for free to locals and visitors alike.
