FREE RIDE

Ptuj’s old center boasts a new environmentally friendly and free mean of transport. The electric vehicle, which the citizens of Ptuj humorously named Zapeljivec (the Seducer) will make navigating the city easier. You can order a ride by phone, or simply flag Zapeljivec down in the street.

On the Drava River

If you want to enjoy views of the oldest Slovenian city and its surrounding hills from the Drava River, embark the Čigra tourist boat.

In warm months, you can explore Ptuj on Pecikl city bikes decorated in the colors of the city’s coat of arms.

Visit TIC Ptuj to register in the Pecikl free bike sharing system, and hop on a bike at one of the four stops:

• Zadružni trg – P&R parking,
• Mestni trg – town hall
• Kraigherjeva ulica – Rimska peč,
• Potrčeva cesta – next to the Ptuj general hospital.

Hop on a bus! For free! Ptuj city buses take the circle route between the park ‘n’ ride parking lot at Zadružni trg, Ptujske Terme and the old city center, and are available for free to locals and visitors alike.
