The old cemetery in Ptuj does not boast any truly monumental tombstones nor a wealth of important people buried there, but it has a special charm. Perhaps because it has not been used as a cemetery for several decades. Or because it is a true green oasis in the centre of town. The answer lies with each individual guest. Nevertheless, it tells many stories about the town and its people from the 18th to the 70s of the 20th century.
Different cultures and nationalities, different monuments and influences.
