A Fairytale Forest Where Stories Come to Life
Step into a magical world where you can meet Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf, Sleeping Beauty, Kosobrin, Bedanec, Kekec, Martin Krpan, Muca Copatarica (The Slipper Cat), The Wolf and the Seven Little Goats, and Hansel and Gretel.
The Fairytale Forest is located in Krčevina pri Vurberku, near Ptuj. Covering two hectares of varied woodland terrain, it offers a unique setting for exploration and imagination. A well-maintained forest trail leads visitors past numerous fairytale cottages, each inspired by beloved stories and their valuable lessons.
Along the way, visitors can discover familiar fairytale characters, relax on benches shaded by a magnificent beech forest, enjoy a snack, chat with friends, or listen to a story. The paths are enriched with informative signs, some of which are sure to bring a smile to your face.
Children can also enjoy large playground equipment and meet a variety of friendly animals, including miniature goats, guinea pigs, ducks, chickens, doves, and a donkey. Young visitors are even welcome to help feed the animals.
