Some museum exhibits discovered in the area of the Roman Poetovio are on display in the lobby of Mitra Hotel. The exhibition includes the remains of the Mithras Shrine V and small objects found near Mithras shrines in Ptuj.
The hotel atrium, called Mithra’s Garden, has an enlarged replica of the statue depicting Mithra’s birth from the rock. Its inscription is dedicated to the birth of the god Mithras, who is rising as a young man from the rock around which a serpent is coiling. He is holding a (broken) dagger in his right hand, and a (broken) torch in the left. The original statue is exhibited in the Mithras Shrine I in Spodnja Hajdina.
