Following the success of the OPERA AT THE CASTLE concert and Masterclass in 2023, this year the final concert of the academy Masterclass for Opera Singers Medea Iassonidi, Ptuj 2024, will once again take place in the grand Festival Hall of Ptuj Castle.
Participants of the Masterclass and performers are young opera stars, who will perform pieces from the repertoire they have prepared in Ptuj, under the guidance of vocal coach Medea Iassonidi of Greek roots, and a répétiteuse from the National Theatre of Prague.
The International Masterclass for Opera Singers, Ptuj 2024 will begin on Saturday, July 6, and will last until Friday, July 12, 2024. It will take place in the Minorite Monastery in Ptuj, which has kindly opened its doors to the participants last year. The participants might also surprise us with an impromptu evening performance in one of the city’s cafés, as they did last year.
